Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how CardVerse handles information when you visit our site. The short version: we don’t require accounts, we don’t ask for your e-mail, and we don’t collect personally identifying data ourselves.

What we don’t collect

CardVerse does not require user accounts. We do not run e-mail capture forms, we do not collect names or addresses, and we do not maintain a contact database. Browsing CardVerse does not create a record of you on our servers beyond the standard webserver request log (IP address, requested URL, user-agent, timestamp), which we keep for a short window for security and debugging purposes.

Cookies

The CardVerse site itself does not set tracking cookies. Some embedded third-party services (advertising, fonts) may set cookies under their own privacy policies. You can disable third-party cookies in your browser at any time without affecting your ability to read or print cards on the site.

Advertising

CardVerse displays advertising in clearly marked positions on the page. Where we use third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdSense), those networks may collect information about your visit using cookies and similar technologies in order to serve relevant ads. The data they collect is governed by their own policies. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or AboutAds.info.

Analytics

We use lightweight aggregate analytics to understand which pages are read and how site performance is holding up. Aggregate analytics tell us things like “the Mother’s Day page was viewed 12,000 times this week” — never “this specific person viewed the Mother’s Day page.” We do not sell or share analytics data.

Children’s privacy

CardVerse is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through any of our limited contact channels, please write to us and we will remove it.

External links

Pages on CardVerse occasionally link to external sites — Wikidata, Wikipedia, official holiday pages, and similar. Once you leave CardVerse you are subject to the privacy policies of those sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date below and post a short note on the homepage for at least thirty days.
