Every row below is one of those records, listed month by month in alphabetical order, with its own wording from the site’s occasion directory (occasions-calendar.json), where the dates and descriptions on this site come from.

How the month is decided
The month shown for each row is the month field of its record in occasions-calendar.json, the same field the by-month index counts. Each month heading carries the number of rule-based records filed under that month.
Occasions whose date is approximate or variable
9 records in occasions-calendar.json are not counted in the 84 above, because their own recorded rule is not a plain nth-weekday-of-the-month rule: some give only a month or a date range, and others count from another date (for example August Thursday, the Thursday after the first Monday in August). They keep their own pages, and are named here so that none of them is left out; each link goes to that page with its full date wording.
